 This is a new hinged Louvre lid section only for the Eurovent rooflight RF62. The corner mounts on these skylights tend to break when strong wind blows off the separate top cover.

Provided this top cover can be found intact (usually lying on the ground nearby)  it is much cheaper and easier than replacing the complete rooflight and you don't have to break the seal on the roof either.
By removing a screw on the hinge, the lid will slide off. Simply transfer the winding mechanism to the new lid and re-fit.
